April 2019: PCIM-EUROPE CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION
From 7 to 9 May 2019, the PCIM-Europe conference and exhibition will take place in Nuremberg. On the 5th and 6th of May the PCIM-Europe seminars and tutorials will take place where experts from industry and academia will give their insight into their specialty in the field of power electronics and will talk about the new developments and technologies.
On Sunday 5th May 2019, from 14:00 to 17:30, at the Arvena Park Hotel Nuremberg, Görlitzer Str. 51, Nuremberg, the seminar 2 entitled "Power Inverter Technology for Industrial Induction Heating” will cover topics on Inverter Technology for Industrial Induction Heating Applications with the following topics: Fundamentals of Inverter Technology for Induction Heating, their Switches and its Commutation as well as an Introduction to Series and Parallel Inverters.

December 2018: INTERNATIONALIZATION TUTORIAL CHECK - IVACE
The Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE), from its International business unit, has awarded SiCtech Induction a Tutorship Check for Internationalization with the aim of improving the strategy of SMEs in the Region of Valencia in the different areas of internationalization and thus gain competitive position in foreign markets through an accompaniment intensive, highly specialized and individualized.

December 2018: REGISTRATION AS AN INNOVATIVE SMES
SiCtech Induction has been registered in the Registry of INNOVATIVE SMES. The Innovative Pyme Seal is an acknowledgment that the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) grants to companies that meet a series of requirements and that therefore they have an innovative character, in order to establish a public policy that helps their growth and sustainability. So, It is a public recognition.

November 2018: COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA (SUNRISE III)
SiCtech Induction collaborates with the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Valencia in the development of power electronics for the IMaX+ and SCIP instruments of the international scientific mission SUNRISE III, which will study the sun by carrying the instruments aboard a stratospheric balloon.

Scientists from Germany, Spain, the USA and Japan collaborate in this mission. The stratospheric balloon will be launched from the base of the Swedish Space Corporation in Kiruna (Sweden).

October 2018: FAIR HÄRTEREI KONGRESS 2018 (COLONIA)
At the fair Härterei Kongress 2018 in Cologne (Germany), SiCtech Induction has presented a family of advanced power inverters for industrial induction heating applications, based of the power inverter module i100k400.

Induction heating manufacturers have shown a great interest in SiCtech Induction's technology due to their extraordinarily small size and weight and advanced features with reference to the actual technology.

October 2018: FAIR HÄRTEREI KONGRESS 2018 (COLONIA)
SiCtech Induction will participate in the Fair and Congress "Härterei Kongress 2018" to be held in Cologne from October 16th to 18th, 2018, presenting the products i100k400, r100k20, r100k100 and w100k400, all of them advanced power converters for the application of industrial induction heating.

September 2018: PRELIMINARY R&D PROJECT FOR IDNEO
Recently the company IDNEO de Barcelona has signed a contract for the realization of a preliminary project for the design of a power converter for the automotive sector.

June 2018: MARICEL PROJECT-CDTI
The Board of Directors of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) has awarded to the company SiCtech Induction a grant with reference IDI-20180410 for the realization of the Research and Development project "INVERTER MODULE OF 100 KW WITH VERY WIDE FREQUENCY RANGE AND VERY HIGH EFFICIENCY, INTEGRATED INTO A PCB FOR INDUCTION HEATING APPLICATIONS".

The research project consists of the development of a new 100 kW power inverter concept with silicon carbide technology with a wide range of frequencies and extraordinarily reduced dimensions and weight in relation to conventional technology and an efficiency higher than 99%.

The project started on March 5, 2018 and the scheduled completion date is July 31, 2019.

April 2018: CREATEC PROJECT-IVACE
The Institute of Industrial Competitiveness in Valencia(Spain) (IVACE) has awarded to SiCtech Induction a grant with reference IMCBTA EMP17 for the realization of the project "50 KW CONVERTER RACK MODULE FOR INDUCTION HEATING APPLICATIONS".

The research project consists in the development of a new concept of power converter integrating into a PCB the rectifying section as well as the inverter including all auxiliary elements and suitable to be integrated into a generator for induction heating applications.

The project has the end date of December 31, 2018.
